Camiguin Island #MyFirstLocalTravel

When we were young, our summer was a travel to a distant place with great tourist attractions. We traveled from south of Mindanao to the northern part to experience, explore and appreciate the island known as the "island born of fire" - CAMIGUIN ISLAND!

We were pretty young to remember things until now, but it's still so beautiful that I could still remember the places where we did visit.

Yes, Camiguin Island is so blessed with natural resources and attractions. We did visit the famous sunken cemetery where you will see a cemetery underwater due to several eruptions of the volcanoes in Camiguin that formed to what it is now. We did visit also the uphill stations of the cross that also witnessed the eruptions of the island's volcanoes. We did visit the hot spring, an evidence that there's a volcano around, where one could enjoy a dip to the waters that's therapeutic - it was where I also learned to swim! We did visit as well the cold spring!!! Plus, we also did visit the place where you'd see a lot of crab pond. It was where we enjoyed a sumptuous lunch! :D

Actually, there are so much more to visit in the island. To name a few, there's a lot of falls, the white island (a sand bar), the ruins of the church, the soda water pool, the lanzones festival, the yema buns, an air adventure with a small aircraft and many more!

Reminiscing those places really gives me a warm embrace of the island's beauty and resources. I really miss going around, right now...hopefully, when things get better, I will surely be back in Camiguin Island.
