BTS V extends his lead as the 'First Solo Artist in History' to reach 104 #1s on iTunes

BTS V, a Korean artist also known as Kim Taehyung, rapidly approached his band on charting his solo track, 'Sweet Night' #1 on iTunes in 104 countries, and tying up with his group BTS' single album 'Black Swan'.

On July 5th, BTS V become the first Asian soloist in history to have most #1s on iTunes, beating a phenomenal British Artist, Adele.

BTS ARMY was eager to see the members to make another history and made sure to make it happen for real! They focused on both group single albums and members' individual tracks at the same time.

BTS have surpassed Adele's 'Hello', a 5 year-old record with most #1s in 102 countries. Just a day after, BTS V beat Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' for gaining the third rank with 'Sweet Night', a Korean-Drama OST from Itaewon Class.

Moreover, BTS leader RM, also known as Kim Namjoon, has surpassed his band's latest album 'Map of the Soul: 7' on 97 spot with his solo album 'Mono,' and currently holds the record as the Asian Act with most #1, in 99 countries.

It looks like BTS is gradually taking the top charts alongside with their members' solo tracks. They are more-likely to eat up the ranks again and completely invade the charts in the future. As of now, the charts itself is showing how organized and passionate BTS ARMY are.
