Baguio City has been one of the top travel destination of Filipino families for many years, not only for it’s scenic view but also for it’s chill weather. Baguio was dubbed as the City of Pines because it was famous for it’s greeny environment. Aside from the chilly and beautiful view, you should not miss the cultural and historical attractions in Baguio.The abundance of pine trees makes the place more beautiful. The coldest weather is around November to February with atleast 10 degrees celcius.


 I have been into Baguio last February and that was an amazing experience indeed. We arrived there at 4 am and it was so cold and taho vendors were outside the bus to sell hot strawberry taho which is so good and perfect desert for cold weather. We did not waste out time and so right after we arrived there, our first stop was Burnham Park. There were a lot of activities you an do there like picnic, zumba, bicycling or you can also paddle a boat. This is one of the most scenic view in Baguio and also a great way to chat with locals and meet new friends. Next is you need to visit Mines View Deck Park, it offers a stunning view of the Cordillera Mountains and here, the tourists were given a chance to wear their traditional clothes of Ifugao. This place is the best place to buy some souvenirs. I had bought my wooden earrings over there and it’s very unique, truly, those people are creative. 

Love horseback riding? Say less and visit wright park which is also situated in Baguio. You can enjoy the leafy environment as well as you can rent your own horse to enjoy the park. Next is the mansion, you can take pictures there with yur family. Next stop is Botanical garden, if you love plants, this place is perfect for you. Baguio City is known for is Panagbenga Festival or a festival with flowers so you will see various of plants over here. Lastly, you should not miss the sweet strawberries in La Trinidad farm. It is 30 mins away from Baguio City proper. You can pick fresh strawberries and vegetables. 

Baguio is really an amazing place and being there was indeed a great experience. Try it out and experience your self the beauty of Baguio.
