Believe it or not, but there's really family which doesn't go well with each member. This is not just baseless speculation but base on real life situation with some of my relatives. I guess argument most likely came from power and riches. Some also argue because of different beliefs and religion. Sometimes even a family member can scam their own blood and flesh. Even in news there are topic sometimes about abusing own children or assaulting own parents. That is not how family works. God doesn't want that to happen.

Like what Abram said, families or relatives shouldn't argue but instead, families should work together as one. I think what is lacking on some families is Love, Care and Trust for each member of the family. There are times when some parents become too controlling that their children lives in pressure instead of joy even worse is when they subconsciously doing it without them realizing that they're basically robbing their children own freedom by dictating them on what they should do even if its against their own free will. Sometimes, children are so hard to discipline that they forgot to obey and to respect their parents. Both are not good because its disrespecting each part rights.

Parents do know what is best for their child but there's always limit for that. And children must also know their own grounds and must not step into their own parents' dignity. Family wouldn't function well if only one part is working. Each member should listen to one another and respect their ideals then decide accordingly.

Though I do think that that kind of situation wouldn't happen if the center and the foundation of the family is God. If the family is God-centered, Love reigns within them and everything will follow. After all when there is love it prevents us from doing or even saying something harmful because if love is present we begin to think not just about ourselves but also about other people feelings which refrain us from hurting them. That's given because God is Love.

In any kind of relationship whether it's between family, friends and with special someone, let us put God in the center and everything will follow. I pray and I hope that may God's love will reign upon all of us and become the center of any kind of relationship we established. Remember it's not just 'us' and 'them', it's actually 'us', God and 'them'.
