I have always with me the heart of teaching. It will always be my greatest pleasure to impart knowledge to children.

I never imagined myself in volunteering to something like educating street children who don't access education due to personal reasons -- maybe hunger, poverty, or lack of motivation.

On February 19, 2020, I organized and led a team in volunteering to teach street children in our community. With my experienced in College as an officer, it is my passion to public service which drives me to do so.

Knowing that Badjao children are seen numbered here in our community, we wanted them to have access in education.

It maybe an embarrassment to some by doing so but I have the motivation to do it. I have a goal. I need to achieved it.

As we move around to the community, we have talked and taught the badjao children.

Having an interview with them, they say that as much as they wanted to go to school, it is their daily needs that hinders them -- much more poverty. They cannot sustain their education as they needed to have something to eat daily. They said that it is not their priority, but to have something in their stomach that matters.

Five (5) years from now, I want to see myself continue volunteering in educating street children. I want to inspire children to access education because this is one of their ticket to a better and secure life.
