In my juvenile years, I am not much of a dreamer. I guess my thinking only is to have a get out of college and get a job. It did not occur to me back then, I guess having a meal on a day is enough for me at that time. I guess I pass my interviews because I said what the recruiters want to hear. They did ask me what do I picture myself 5 years or 10 years from what I am doing right now. My answers are wild guesses. I guess when I got my own family I learned how to plan and target my goals but to really dream ahead of time still Its really not coming to my senses. Then I start to burn out with all that I do in my job in my life. I guess you realize something when you miss the things that got away. The childhood of your kids, the school programs you missed, and some of the occasions you take for granted. The time you lost is the one that will make you realize you need to move forward with your status.

I trying a lot of ways on how to earn money while I am still working full time even part-time. Projects that I can work in the morning and then I will work my full time in the afternoon. I fail that even for easy projects or tasks like testing or maintenance of websites just easy tasks and yet I fail. At some point, I stop and think about how to strategize next and juggling those tasks while I do my father and husband’s duties at home.

But what is my target anyway? Well, my target is to pursue my career in designing, to be a good UX designer. To own a blog that I will build and earn some passive income.

5 years from now, my dream to own my own website have a portfolio and build a blog that would generate passive income. That’s what I want to build. I will not resign from my current work, the benefits are really good so I will not give that up. If I fail on that, I still have a portfolio and I still have my job.

I really dream to earn a passive income by blogging. With that, we would have enough to maintain the blog and to pay our expenses. That’s my dream 5 years from now. That is why I am practicing blogging. On how to write good stories or good articles and at the same time there are other topics like marketing and branding that I can switch while I learn how to blog.

When this pandemic is over where we can already travel as a family, I can give my child the experience of traveling. We will be traveling as a family for the first time and we will experience a different culture or visit the places that they only see on Koreanovelas. That is my dream for them. Because this world is no longer mine alone, I am building a world not really for me but for them, and from that, they will build their own, build with their own dreams and passion.
