This is my first post here and can't decide on what to share. It's been a long time since I did this, like writing/blogging - I really can’t decide on what to write. Hmmm, let just try to spread positivity as we share our stories, so here goes. Work from home life due to Quarantine; 5-months and counting... Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I’m actually thankful, that I got to continue my work at home. I’m lucky enough to transition immediately to a WAH set up since Quarantine was implemented last March 16, 2020 and even got an approval to continue to do so until I'm comfortable enough to go back to the office. But despite that, everything needs getting used to: • Everyone is at home – entire family, it can be annoying • No more everyday travel from home to office and vice versa • We cannot travel – we had to cancel our trip abroad (well, that’s another story) • Can’t go out to just stroll in the mall, shop, dine • We can’t do catch up with friends • People are bored Those were some of the most common things we hear from people, complaints and was guilty for some of it but we need to stop also consider other people – the frontliners and those people who cannot afford to stay at home because they need to work. For these I just realized that despite this situation: • I’m thankful that my entire family are well • I’m grateful for my company/boss, for being understanding and considerate • I’m pleased about the time-off • I’m glad about technology we can still catch up with friends virtually and keep each other sane There’s still a lot of things that I am thankful for big, little and simple things, the list goes on. And I look forward on what I will discover more, hey, this situation got me here in this community – so who knows. I just hope that everyone is doing fine, if not, hang in there (virtual tap in the back) we can get through this, have faith, be safe.
