BORACAY - Two fishermen were rescued by authorities here on Wednesday after their boat capsized. 

The Boracay Action Group-Boracay Fire Rescue and Ambulance Volunteers (BAG-BFRAV) immediately responded to the two who floated in the sea covered by Barangay Yapak.

According to authorities, the boat capsized on Tuesday afternoon due to strong waves. 

According to Leonard Tirol, founder of BFRAV, a fisherman sustained a foot injury. 

The rescuers were immediately given first aid and taken to the nearest hospital.

Fishermen are now in good condition, according to volunteer responder.
