Red Velvet Comeback in August

Confirmed!

Red Velvet, a Korean girl group, will release an album in August.

Red Velvet's label, SM entertainment, confirmed the news on Wednesday, June 9, according to entertainment portal Soompi. “Red Velvet is working on a new album with the intention of releasing it in August. Please anticipate it,” the agency stated.

The album's other details are yet to be published. Several Red Velvet-related terms led Philippine trends shortly after the news, as fans anticipate a full-group reunion.

Red Velvet's first group project since their repackaged album The Reve Festival: Finale was published in December 2019 will be the future release.

Since then, the members of Red Velvet have been promoting themselves as a group and as solo artists. In July 2020, Irene and Seulgi debuted as a duo with Monster. Wendy's solo album Like Water was released in April 2021, while Joy's remake album Hello was published in May. Yeri, on the other hand, made her acting debut.

Red Velvet's songs "Red Flavor," "Power Up," and "Psycho" are well-known.
