My first job <3

Hello Everyone! this post will be my first entry here at Good info net. I will be sharing with you my story and experience on my first job.

Starting of with my awaited College Graduation. At last! all the hard works and efforts have already been paid off by my diploma. The feeling was surreal. I cannot take off the smile on my face. Thinking that I am already prepared and equipped for the next level of my life, which is Adulting- and it includes of course, having a stable job.

I pursued a different career path. Far different from the course that I took on College. I was a Business Management Graduate, but then I pursued to be a BPO agent. Before, when I was still a student, I can't get off my mind that after all the years of my hardships in college, I will be soaring up high in my chosen field of career. But then, we can all agree that some of our plans may change. And all the factors are being considered. And that is totally fine.

It was hard at first, because working at BPO somehow gives me different kinds of feeling. I'm one of the youngest agents back then but its not a hindrance for me to be best in what I do. Like most of the BPO agents here in the Philippines, I also work in graveyard shifts. The feeling was awkward though because, by the time that you are wide awake at night, most of the working adults here in the Philippines are already sleeping. And by the time that my shift has ended and I am ready to go home, everyone is just preparing to go to work. :D

Even though I always get the gloomy feeling of how my career path went out of my plan, I just always pray to God that he will always guide me in the right direction of my life. Additionally, whenever I get that feeling, I always remind myself that there is nothing wrong in what I do and that being on my job pays me higher than an average office employee.

This job also made me meet different kinds of people. The people who will be your friend/s, the ones who will teach you things and stuff you didn't know yet. And lastly, the ones who will make you stand on your feet and be brave.

It was fun, I've learned a lot of things that I didn't know yet. And also, because of this job, I get to fund my weekend local travels. I treated it as my reward for my weeks of hard work and sleepless nights. Being a BPO agent has also a lot of perks. From different rewards, most of them are monetary, down to the benefits such as HMO and discount perks from partner businesses.

For the past two years of being in this job, It was a blast. But then, the account that I'm handling got dissolved and it was the time for goodbye. It was sad but then I took it as a token for the next level. Its time to look for greener pastures and for a more stable job. Hopefully, I will be more successful at it.

In this phase of my life, I have realized that I'm not the only one who experiences this. And that all of us have to face different battles ahead of us. We just have to believe in ourselves and to God.

Hoping that you liked a little phase in my life I've shared with you. :) Onto the next!
